Role Description The Projektuotojas-konstruktorius role at Nordroof is a full-time, hybrid position based in Marijampolės, Lithuania, with the option to perform part of the work from home. In this role, the specialist will prepare and develop technical drawings and construction designs for modular houses, ensuring compliance with structural and safety standards. Daily tasks include collaborating with architects, engineers, and production teams, optimizing designs for manufacturing efficiency, and adapting solutions to client requirements and different European markets. The role also involves reviewing and updating project documentation, performing basic structural calculations, and providing technical support during production and installation phases. The Projektuotojas-konstruktorius will contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and support the development of innovative, sustainable modular solutions.
Qualifications
Strong skills in technical drawing and construction design using CAD or BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools).
Knowledge of structural design principles for timber or modular construction, including basic load-bearing and stability calculations.
Ability to read, interpret, and prepare technical documentation, drawings, and specifications for manufacturing and installation.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams such as architects, engineers, and production staff in a construction or manufacturing environment.
Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to optimize designs for efficiency, cost, and quality.
Relevant technical education in civil engineering, construction engineering, architecture, or a related field.
Comfortable working in a hybrid setup, managing tasks both on-site and remotely with minimal supervision.
Ability to communicate clearly in Lithuanian and English; knowledge of other European languages is an advantage.
Experience in modular or prefabricated construction and familiarity with European building standards is considered beneficial.
