Company Description Eminent International Testing Centre is an engineering firm specializing in performance testing services for building envelopes worldwide. The company is equipped to conduct both laboratory and on-site testing for doors, windows, and curtain walls in accordance with international standards such as ASTM, AAMA, CWCT, BS EN, AS/NZS, and Indian standards. These services support quality assurance by verifying performance before and during construction, ensuring design criteria are met and proper installation is followed. Eminent International is based in Pashamylaram Industrial Area, Hyderabad, India, and also provides onsite testing services in the Middle East, including a broad range of specialized tests for structural integrity, safety, and environmental performance.
Role Description The Manager Quality Management is a full-time, on-site role based in Umm Al Quwain. This role is responsible for overseeing quality management processes for testing services, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and project specifications. Day-to-day activities include developing and implementing quality assurance and quality control plans, reviewing test procedures and results, and coordinating with engineering and operations teams to resolve quality issues. The Manager will conduct internal audits, lead root cause analysis and corrective actions, and provide training to staff on quality policies and best practices. The role also involves preparing quality reports for clients, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring that all testing activities are documented and executed in alignment with company and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Strong Quality Management and Quality Assurance skills, with experience developing and implementing quality systems and procedures.
Proficiency in Quality Control practices, including monitoring, inspection, and verification of testing activities and documentation.
Demonstrated Analytical Skills for interpreting test data, identifying trends, and performing root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Experience in Training team members on quality standards, test methods, and continuous improvement practices.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field; advanced certifications in quality management (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma) are an advantage.
Knowledge of international testing standards relevant to building envelopes (e.g., ASTM, AAMA, BS EN) and related quality requirements.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate clearly with clients and stakeholders, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Previous experience in a testing laboratory, construction, façade engineering, or building envelope industry is highly beneficial.
