Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Purchasing Executive role based in Changodhar-Bavla. The Purchasing Executive is responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities, including reviewing purchase requisitions, preparing purchase orders, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials. Daily tasks include evaluating vendor quotations, negotiating prices and terms, monitoring inventory levels, and maintaining accurate purchasing records, make costing of the products. The role involves close collaboration with internal departments to understand material requirements, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with company policies and cost-control objectives. The Purchasing Executive is also expected to track market trends, identify reliable suppliers, and support continuous improvement in purchasing processes.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Purchase Orders and Purchase Requisitions, with the ability to manage documentation and approvals accurately.
Candidates should possess skills in Purchase Management and Procurement, including vendor selection, negotiation, and cost analysis.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with suppliers and internal teams and to resolve issues promptly.
Relevant experience in purchasing, supply chain, or materials management within manufacturing or wellness-related industries is beneficial.
Collaboration with production department, for future requirements of raw material and packaging material and also to work on the costing considering the rates of raw material and packaging materials.
Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP or purchasing software will be an advantage.
Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site environment are important.
