We’re hiring a technically strong Senior Software Engineer to design, develop and deploy reliable, secure and scalable services for a high-scale SaaS environment.
This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who enjoys solving complex backend problems, building high-performance applications and owning services end-to-end.
What you’ll own
• Own the complete lifecycle of services: design, development, testing, debugging, rollout and enhancement
• Build high-performance, scalable and extensible applications
• Translate technical requirements into efficient, production-ready code
• Work as an individual contributor and manage a small team when required
• Participate in code and design reviews
• Apply engineering best practices and drive continuous improvement
• Introduce technologies and frameworks that improve scalability, reliability and security
• Work closely with engineering and other stakeholders in an agile environment
What we’re looking for
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Core Java
• Strong understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful web services
• Hands-on experience building and debugging highly concurrent and multithreaded applications
• Strong understanding of memory optimization, memory leaks and GC tuning
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud resources
• Strong Linux/Unix and Bash scripting experience
• Good database knowledge
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts
• Good knowledge of GitHub best practices and version control
• Experience guiding software engineers on engineering best practices
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Client interaction / technical consulting experience for solutioning and implementation will be an added advantage
