Role Description As a Video Editor Intern at Be Rolling Media, you will support the creation of engaging video content that aligns with brand narratives and storytelling goals. Day-to-day tasks may include organizing and editing raw footage, assembling rough and final cuts, adding basic motion graphics, sound, and visual effects, and ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and project briefs. You will collaborate with creative strategists, writers, and producers to translate ideas into compelling visual stories for social media, brand campaigns, and IP-driven content. This is an internship role with a hybrid work arrangement, meaning you will be primarily based in Delhi, India, with some flexibility to work from home. You will also assist with file management, version control, and preparing assets for delivery across digital platforms.
Roles and Responsibilities
Edit videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and other social media
platforms.
Create engaging reels, promotional videos, advertisements, and short-form content
based on current social media trends.
Enhance videos using smooth transitions, music, sound effects, subtitles, animations,
motion graphics, and visual effects.
Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop creative video ideas,
attention-grabbing hooks, and storytelling concepts.
Ensure all video content aligns with the brand's visual style, tone, and identity.
Collaborate with the content, marketing, and production teams to execute projects
effectively.
Adapt videos for different platforms by adjusting formats, aspect ratios, pacing,
duration, and other specifications.
Complete assigned projects within deadlines while maintaining a high standard of
quality and creativity.
Organize and manage video files, project assets, footage, and other digital content
efficiently.
Bonus Points If You:
Have a strong interest in video editing, content creation, and visual storytelling.
Have hands-on knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects
Have basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or other Adobe Creative
Suite tools.
Understand social media trends, short-form content, reels, and platform-specific
video formats.
Have an eye for detail, composition, pacing, transitions, and visual aesthetics.
Have a good understanding of music selection, sound design, subtitles, and motion
graphics.
Have experience creating reels, advertisements, promotional videos, or other social
media content.
Are creative, proactive, curious, and open to experimenting with new editing styles
and techniques.
Have a basic understanding of storytelling, hooks, and audience retention.
