Role: Design Engineer
Functional Area: 3D Modelling and Drafting
Qualification: B.E. Mechanical with 2 to 3 years of experience
Desired Industrial Background: Oil and Gas / Energy / Power / Infrastructure / Food / Pharma
Experience:
2-3 years of experience in relevant technology.
Should have experience in Static Equipment (Pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns, Storage Tanks) design and detail engineering
Proficiency in 3D modelling software.
Role and Responsibilities:
Utilize 2D and 3D design and Modeling tools for mechanical design and detailing.
Perform mechanical design of static equipment (pressure vessels, heat exchangers, reactors, etc.) in compliance with process inputs, design basis, contractual requirements, and industry standards (ASME, TEMA, API, etc.).
Assist Senior Design Engineers in developing 3D models and 2D drawings for pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and related process equipment.
Attend client and third-party meetings to understand project requirements and implement necessary design modifications.
Support customers and fabricators with design changes during the manufacturing phase, ensuring smooth execution.
Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and fabricators for scope clarification, design approvals, and issue resolution.
Provide technical inputs to the mechanical draughtsman team for accurate drawing preparation.
Review and validate engineering drawings to ensure alignment with design reports and project specifications.
