Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive role based at the pet shop operations of Brunos Dog Hostel in the Mohali district. The Sales Executive will greet customers, understand their pet-related needs, and recommend suitable products such as food, accessories, toys, and hygiene items. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing product displays, ensuring accurate pricing and labeling, handling billing and cash transactions, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the shop area. The role also involves monitoring stock levels, coordinating with management on inventory replenishment, and assisting with basic inquiries about hostel services. The Sales Executive will help build customer loyalty by providing friendly, informed service and supporting promotional activities within the store.
Qualifications
Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to engage warmly and clearly with diverse customers.
Basic sales and retail skills, including product recommendation, upselling, and handling cash and digital payments accurately.
Organizational skills for managing displays, tracking inventory, and keeping the shop clean and orderly.
Comfort working around animals and a genuine interest in pets, especially dogs.
Ability to work full-time on-site, including weekends and peak hours as needed.
Previous experience in retail, pet shops, or customer-facing roles is an advantage but not mandatory.
Basic computer literacy for using billing systems and maintaining simple records.
Minimum high school education or equivalent; additional training in retail or animal care is a plus.
