Role Description The Senior Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurgaon. The Senior Engineer will lead the design, development, and optimization of technical solutions, ensuring they meet performance, quality, and security standards. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, reviewing technical specifications, performing code and design reviews, and mentoring junior engineers. The Senior Engineer will troubleshoot complex issues, recommend improvements to existing systems, and participate in planning and estimating for new projects. The position also requires documenting technical decisions, aligning solutions with business requirements, and contributing to best practices across the engineering team.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in core engineering principles, such as system design, architecture, and performance optimization.
Proficiency in at least one modern programming language and familiarity with common development frameworks and tools.
Experience with version control, build pipelines, and software development lifecycle practices.
Ability to analyze requirements, create technical specifications, and translate business needs into scalable solutions.
Demonstrated experience in mentoring, technical leadership, and collaborative problem-solving within engineering teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
Strong troubleshooting and debugging capabilities, including root-cause analysis and systematic issue resolution.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience working in an on-site, cross-functional environment and coordinating with global teams is an advantage.
Familiarity with security best practices, quality assurance processes, and documentation standards is beneficial.
