Role Description The Generative AI Engineer will design, develop, and optimize AI models focused on content generation, automation, and intelligent workflows. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and fine-tuning machine learning and deep learning models, integrating them into production systems, and collaborating with product and engineering teams to define requirements and deliver robust solutions. The role involves data preprocessing, model evaluation, performance tuning, and documentation of architectures and processes. The engineer will also stay current with developments in generative AI, experiment with new frameworks and techniques, and participate in code reviews and technical discussions. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kanpur.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
Hands-on experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and familiarity with generative models such as transformers, VAEs, or GANs.
Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI development (e.g., Python) and experience with relevant libraries and tooling for data processing and model deployment.
Understanding of MLOps practices, including version control, testing, monitoring, and deploying models to production environments on cloud or on-premise infrastructure.
Ability to work with structured and unstructured data, perform feature engineering, and apply evaluation metrics to measure and improve model performance.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate product needs into technical solutions and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience working in multidisciplinary teams and willingness to collaborate on research, prototyping, and iterative development of AI-driven products.
