Role Description The Assistant Warehouse Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Tarapur. This position supports the overall warehouse operations, including overseeing daily stock handling, coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments, and maintaining accurate inventory records. The role involves supervising warehouse staff, monitoring storage conditions, and ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical handling and safety protocols. The Assistant Warehouse Manager works closely with the operations team to optimize space utilization, streamline workflows, and support timely order fulfillment. The role also includes preparing basic reports, supporting audits, and assisting in implementing process improvements aligned with company standards.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Stock Control and Inventory Control to ensure accurate tracking and documentation of materials on Tally.
Candidates should possess skills in Inventory Management and Operations Management to support efficient warehouse processes and resource utilization.
Candidates should possess skills in Forklift Operation and safe material handling practices to manage loading, unloading, and movement of goods.
Strong attention to detail, basic data entry and reporting skills, and familiarity with warehouse management or ERP systems.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical or chemical warehousing standards, including safety, hygiene, and regulatory compliance, is an advantage.
Effective communication skills, ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams, and readiness to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Relevant education in logistics, supply chain, or a related field, and prior experience in warehouse supervision or coordination is preferred.
