Role Description The Lecturer in Physics role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kolkata. The lecturer will design and deliver engaging physics lessons for school and college-level learners in live classroom settings. Daily responsibilities include planning and updating lesson materials, explaining complex concepts in a clear manner, using demonstrations and problem-solving sessions, and assessing student progress through assignments and tests. The lecturer will provide personalized academic support, clarify doubts, and adapt teaching strategies to different learning levels. The role may also involve developing specialized modules for competitive exams and contributing to curriculum improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Strong subject knowledge and teaching ability in Physics and Physics Education.
Expertise in Theoretical Physics and Astronomy, with the ability to relate concepts to real-world applications.
Experience in Curriculum Development for physics courses and exam-oriented programs.
Relevant academic qualification in Physics (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree; higher degrees are an advantage).
Prior teaching or lecturing experience in schools, colleges, or coaching institutes.
Clear communication skills, classroom management capabilities, and a learner-focused teaching approach.
Comfort with using digital tools and online resources to support in-class learning.
