Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for a WordPress Developer with 1 year of experience. The WordPress Developer will assist in building, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites, including themes, templates, and plugins. Daily responsibilities include implementing front-end designs, ensuring responsive layouts, and supporting basic back-end configurations within the WordPress environment. The role involves collaborating with designers and senior developers, troubleshooting issues, optimizing website performance, and ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility. The developer will also help with content updates, basic SEO-related configurations, and implementing best practices for usability and accessibility.
Qualifications
Front-end skills in WordPress environments, including Front-End Development, Responsive Web Design, and Web Design.
Foundational Web Development knowledge covering both client-side and server-side concepts.
Basic understanding or exposure to Back-End Web Development, especially as it relates to WordPress configuration and customization.
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and common WordPress page builders or theme frameworks.
Ability to debug layout and functionality issues and follow structured coding standards.
Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and willingness to learn from feedback.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
