Product Engineer (React Native)
📍 Location: Berlin/Remote Germany
💰 Salary: Up to 80,000 euros
🕒 Type: Full-time
This is a true full-stack product engineering role where you'll own features from the mobile app through to the backend services that power it.
Working within a small, high-performing Product & Tech team, you'll build customer-facing experiences, backend APIs, and internal tooling that directly impact thousands of users every day. With short decision-making cycles and plenty of autonomy, you'll see your work go from idea to production in days rather than months.
What You'll Be Doing
Build and ship new features across a React Native mobile application
Develop backend APIs using Node.js and TypeScript
Work on customer ordering, loyalty, rewards and payment experiences
Build integrations with payment providers, POS systems and third-party services
Develop internal tools that support day-to-day operations
Improve application performance, reliability and observability
Collaborate closely with Product, Design and Operations to deliver new features quickly
What They're Looking For
4+ years' experience building production mobile applications
Strong commercial experience with React Native (Expo desirable)
Solid backend development experience with Node.js and TypeScript
Experience designing and building REST APIs
Knowledge of MongoDB or other database technologies
Experience shipping apps to both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store
Strong problem-solving skills and ownership mentality
Nice to Have
Experience with Stripe or payment platforms
Exposure to AWS cloud services
Experience with POS or retail technology integrations
German language skills
