Role Description The Information Technology Technical Support role at BEL is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, India. The role involves providing day-to-day technical support for hardware, software, and network issues, including diagnosing problems, implementing solutions, and documenting resolutions. The professional in this position will respond to user requests, manage incident tickets, perform system updates, and support the deployment and maintenance of IT infrastructure. Responsibilities also include coordinating with internal teams and vendors, assisting in small IT projects and upgrades, and ensuring adherence to organizational IT policies and security standards. The role requires clear communication with end users, timely issue resolution, and proactive monitoring to maintain system performance and reliability.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Technical Support and Troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
Candidates should possess solid Information Technology knowledge, including operating systems, basic networking concepts, and common enterprise applications.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact with end users, document issues clearly, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Candidates should possess foundational Project Management abilities to assist in planning, executing, and tracking small IT initiatives and upgrades.
Relevant academic background such as a diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field is beneficial.
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent vendor certifications are an advantage.
Ability to work systematically under defined procedures, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail in a high-demand environment.
Familiarity with IT security best practices, backup procedures, and asset management tools is preferred.
