iOS Engineer (Canada)

For our client, we are seeking a iOS Engineer (Canada) to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space.
This role will focus on shaping the mobile experience for a consumer product, with an emphasis on long-term technical direction and high-impact execution. You will partner closely with product and engineering leadership to translate user understanding into product strategy and technical priorities. The position also calls for mentoring senior engineers, driving alignment across teams, and contributing to the success of new product initiatives in a fast-moving environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually
Responsibilities
Identify and lead high-impact engineering initiatives across teams
Own and define a long-term technical vision for the mobile platform
Collaborate with product and engineering management to shape product strategy based on user understanding
Mentor senior engineers to enhance their execution and influence
Drive functional alignment while navigating complex organizational structures
Qualifications
8+ years of experience in iOS development or related roles
Expertise in Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI, and iOS frameworks
Proven track record of delivering high-quality mobile experiences
Experience in 0-to-1 product environments with a focus on new product development
Strong independent working ability, with experience managing multiple project priorities effectively
Excellent communication skills and the ability to mentor other engineers
Fluency with AI coding tools and a perspective on their impact on software development
