Senior AI Engineer - US

For our client, we are seeking a Senior AI Engineer - US to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space.
This role will focus on designing and deploying advanced AI capabilities that improve how customers interact with the company's platform. You will help turn generative AI concepts into reliable production systems, partnering closely with product and engineering teams to shape technical direction. The position offers strong ownership, direct impact on customer experience, and the opportunity to influence how AI is developed and delivered across the organization.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $135,000 – $160,000 annually
Responsibilities
Design, build, and deploy generative AI capabilities for a core workflow
Develop applications using large language models and agentic systems
Create reliable production systems from prototypes with measurable performance
Design and operate machine learning services and workflows using Python and Docker
Build evaluation pipelines for generative AI with accuracy and fairness benchmarks
Establish technical standards for AI system development and release
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align AI capabilities with business needs
Qualifications
4+ years of experience building and deploying machine learning or AI systems in production
Proficiency in Python and software engineering
Experience with production services using Python frameworks like FastAPI
Practical experience developing generative AI applications using large language models
Familiarity with enterprise RAG systems such as chunking and retrieval
Experience using AWS services, Docker, and Kubernetes
Strong communication skills and experience in cross-functional collaboration
