Applications Engineer Mold Release

For our client, we are seeking a Applications Engineer Mold Release to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space.
This role will serve as a key technical partner to customers, helping improve product selection, performance, and application outcomes across manufacturing and automotive environments. The position combines hands-on troubleshooting, product trial support, and customer-facing technical guidance with close collaboration across internal teams. It is well suited for a candidate who can translate complex technical challenges into practical solutions and build trusted relationships in the field. The role also includes travel to customer sites and events to support adoption and performance.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $115,000+ annually
Responsibilities
Lead technical application support for customers
Troubleshoot application, product, and process issues
Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop solutions
Conduct product trials and evaluate results
Identify opportunities to improve product performance
Provide technical guidance on product selection and performance
Travel up to 30% for customer site visits and events
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Engineering, or a related field
10+ years of experience in technical sales or applications engineering
Advanced experience with Salesforce; Administrator experience preferred
Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
