Sr Data Scientist, People Analytics

For our client, we are seeking a Sr Data Scientist, People Analytics to join the team of a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space.
This role will focus on forecasting, predictive modeling, and advanced analytics to support people-related decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will partner closely with HR and Data Engineering teams to translate workforce questions into scalable analytical solutions. You will also apply AI and LLM techniques to structured and unstructured people data while ensuring sensitive information is handled with care.
Through data-driven insights and model development, this position will help leadership improve planning, automate decisions, and strengthen workforce strategy.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $120,000 – $145,000 annually
Responsibilities
Partner with HR leaders to understand forecasting needs and translate them into analytical solutions
Build and deploy predictive models using Python and SQL
Create AI agents to interact with people data and automate decision processes
Select appropriate methodologies for a range of analytical questions and explain results to leadership
Use LLMs to analyze unstructured people data and integrate findings into models
Work closely with Data Engineering to structure the data needed for modeling
Ensure sensitive workforce data is handled with appropriate discretion
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related analytical field
5+ years of data science experience; 1+ years with a PhD or 3+ years with an MS
Expertise in predictive modeling techniques, including regression and time series forecasting
Strong foundation in statistics, experimentation, and causal inference
Proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience building large-scale models
Hands-on experience with LLMs and data structuring techniques
Ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical audiences
