Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS)

Our Occupier Services team is experiencing significant growth, and we are looking for a Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS) to support the delivery of a major corporate real estate portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing team delivering innovative workplace, refurbishment and capital projects across a national programme.
The Role
As a Chartered Quantity Surveyor, you will provide commercial and cost management expertise across a diverse range of corporate workplace and commercial real estate projects.
Working closely with project managers, consultants, contractors and client stakeholders, you will be responsible for ensuring robust cost control, commercial governance and value delivery throughout the project lifecycle.
This role would suit an established MRICS professional looking to further develop their career within a client-focused, fast-paced and highly collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver pre- and post-contract quantity surveying services across multiple projects.
Prepare cost plans, estimates, budgets and feasibility studies.
Manage procurement processes and tender evaluations.
Administer construction contracts and monitor commercial risk.
Review contractor applications, variations and final accounts.
Produce project cost reports and financial forecasts.
Provide strategic cost advice to client stakeholders and project teams.
Support value engineering and cost optimisation initiatives.
Assist in the management of programme budgets across multiple sites.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and contractors.
About You
Essential
MRICS qualified (mandatory).
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
Consultancy experience within the real estate, construction or property sector.
Strong experience delivering corporate occupier, commercial office, workplace, fit-out or refurbishment projects.
Excellent understanding of cost planning, procurement and contract administration.
Experience working within large-scale corporate real estate programmes.
Knowledge of JCT and NEC forms of contract.
Experience working in a multi-disciplinary consultancy environment.
Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
