About This Role
We’re looking for full-stack roboticists to own either manipulation or navigation systems end to end. These roles require strong theoretical grounding combined with real-world deployment experience. You’ll be working on robotic arms, mobile robots, and/or legged systems, helping take advanced robotics capabilities from lab-quality to production-ready.
Core Responsibilities
- Design and implement robotic manipulation systems.
- Deploy and operate robotic systems on real-world hardware.
- Debug, iterate, and improve real-world robotic behavior in production environments.
- Collaborate closely with software and infrastructure teams to deliver robust, integrated systems.
Job Requirements:
- 3+ years in robot manipulation, with work deployed on physical arms
- Strong Python; experience writing production code with tests and code review
- Solid robotics math: SE(3), rigid-body transforms, Jacobians, forward/inverse kinematics
- Motion planning experience (sampling-based planners, collision checking, trajectory generation)
- Learning: trained ACT, Diffusion Policy, or VLAs (pi-0, OpenVLA, GR00T) with PyTorch; LeRobot or similar data pipelines
- Hands-on hardware debugging: robot drivers, cameras, grippers, calibration
- 3D perception basics: point clouds, depth cameras, camera-robot calibration
- Rigorous testing mindset: designs repeatable experiments and reports success rates
- Tools: Drake, Pinocchio, MuJoCo or Isaac Sim, Meshcat
Nice to Have
- Control: real-time control loops, controller arbitration, visual servoing
- Open-source contributions to robotics or robot-learning projects
- Proficiency in Rust, Python, C++
