Role Description The Assistant Manager HR role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. This role involves overseeing day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, and coordination of HR documentation and compliance. The Assistant Manager HR will support performance management processes, employee engagement initiatives, and training and development activities. The role also includes partnering with business leaders on workforce planning, addressing employee concerns, and implementing HR policies and procedures. The individual will contribute to continuous improvement of HR practices and help maintain a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong HR operations skills, including experience in recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle management.
Candidates should possess skills in performance management, employee engagement, and talent development to support teams and individuals.
Candidates should possess knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and compliance requirements relevant to the Indian pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
Candidates should possess skills in HR data management, use of HRIS or related systems, and basic reporting and analytics.
Candidates should possess strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills to work effectively with employees and management.
A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required; a postgraduate qualification or HR certification is an advantage.
Relevant experience in an HR role, preferably in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or a similar regulated industry, is highly beneficial.
Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, manage multiple priorities, and uphold high standards of professionalism and confidentiality.
