The Challenge
We're looking for a Staff Software Engineer to help lead technical direction in support of Developer Experience at OneTrust. Staff Engineers determine their own approach on complex, often ambiguous assignments, and their technical judgment is trusted well beyond their immediate team.
Your Mission
Technical Leadership & Architecture
Lead design and architecture for major features or components, ensuring alignment with the broader system architecture.
Independently determine approach and methods on complex, ambiguous assignments without an established playbook.
Cross-Team Collaboration
Partner with other engineering teams, and architecture to shape solutions before implementation begins.
Build working relationships and technical credibility beyond your immediate team.
Quality & Standards
Establish and champion engineering best practices adopted by your team and beyond.
Maintain a strong focus on customer outcomes
Mentorship
Mentor Senior and mid-level engineers, helping them grow their technical judgment and scope of ownership.
