Role Description The Junior Site Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kochi. The role involves assisting in the supervision of construction activities, monitoring daily site operations, and ensuring work is carried out according to drawings, specifications, and safety guidelines. The Junior Site Engineer will support quality control checks, coordinate with contractors and senior engineers, and prepare basic site reports and documentation. The position also includes attending site meetings, tracking project progress, and helping resolve on-site technical issues under the guidance of senior team members.
Qualifications
Ability to work on site in Kochi and adapt to on-site project requirements and schedules.
Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with project teams, contractors, and clients.
Knowledge of quality control practices to monitor construction work, materials, and compliance with standards.
Foundational understanding of structural engineering principles relevant to building and infrastructure projects.
Educational background in civil engineering or related field; entry-level civil engineers are encouraged to apply.
Familiarity with construction drawings, basic project documentation, and site safety practices.
Ability to work collaboratively, follow instructions from senior engineers, and take initiative in assigned tasks.
Proficiency with basic engineering tools and software (e.g., AutoCAD or similar) is an advantage.
