Product Manager, Sail Core

For our client, we are seeking a Product Manager, Sail Core to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.
This role will own the strategy and evolution of the company's frontend platform, with a focus on enabling a strong developer experience for frontend engineers. The position will drive modernization efforts across critical web technologies while balancing architectural integrity, scalability, and speed of delivery. It will also partner closely with engineering teams to guide technical decisions, improve tooling, and support platform investments that benefit multiple product teams.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $150,000 – $180,000 annually
Responsibilities
Own and develop the product strategy for the company's frontend platform
Lead major frontend modernization initiatives while maintaining architectural integrity
Innovate frontend development processes with effective tooling
Set and assess key performance metrics such as latency and build times
Serve as the product representative in complex technical decision-making about APIs and migrations
Qualifications
7+ years of product management experience, especially in platform or developer tools
Strong understanding of frontend web development, including JavaScript/TypeScript and React
Experience managing large-scale migrations with multiple teams
Proven track record using metrics to influence platform investment decisions
Collaboration with engineering on architectural trade-offs affecting user impact
