SIU Director II - Claims Process

For our client, we are seeking a SIU Director II - Claims Process to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.
This role will lead strategic claims process improvement efforts with a strong focus on special investigations, fraud prevention, and operational performance. The Director will partner closely with claims, adjuster, and cross-functional teams to define metrics, strengthen workflows, and drive measurable outcomes across the organization. The position also carries responsibility for building a high-performing team and advancing initiatives that improve customer experience and financial loss reduction.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $120,000 – $145,000 annually
Responsibilities
Define and refine KPIs to measure success and align metrics with claims outcomes
Build and maintain claims process maps and translate them into actionable improvement roadmaps
Execute and shape strategies for best-in-class claims performance
Drive financial loss reduction and improve experiences for adjusters and customers
Hire and develop a diverse team while supporting DE&I principles
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate KPIs and identify actionable insights
Communicate effectively across all organizational levels to gain buy-in for initiatives
Qualifications
10+ years of SIU experience within a relevant field
5 years of leadership or process management experience
Advanced degree preferred
Demonstrated superior claims and process knowledge
Excellent presentation and communication skills
