Large Accounts Underwriter

For our client, we are seeking a Large Accounts Underwriter to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.
This role will focus on managing a profitable large account portfolio with an emphasis on pricing discipline, risk selection, and strong broker and agent partnerships. You will work closely with regional leadership to support agency strategy and help shape underwriting decisions that align with market conditions. The position also involves negotiating terms, evaluating complex submissions, and contributing to continued portfolio growth and performance.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $100,085 – $152,122 annually
Responsibilities
Manage and grow a profitable large account portfolio
Evaluate moderately complex large accounts for pricing and risk selection
Build and maintain strong broker and agent relationships
Partner with regional leadership on agency strategy
Negotiate terms and pricing on large account underwriting
Monitor market trends and competition to inform strategy
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in insurance or business administration, or equivalent experience
5 years of commercial underwriting experience or related experience
Preferred experience with large accounts
Preferred insurance designations such as CPCU
Excellent knowledge of underwriting and risk analysis
