Director, Finance Strategy & Analytics

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Finance Strategy & Analytics to join the team of a leader in the Education, Government & Non-Profit space.
This role will shape financial strategy by building models and business cases that inform new products, market opportunities, and broader commercial decisions.
You will partner closely with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to evaluate pricing, packaging, and growth initiatives while translating complex analyses into clear recommendations.
The position also includes leading a small analytics team and serving as a trusted resource for strategic planning and Board-level communication.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $126,750 – $233,750 annually
Responsibilities
Build financial models and business cases to evaluate new products and market opportunities
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities
Develop compelling presentations for executive and Board-level communication
Own the pricing model, aligning prices and tiers with business objectives
Lead annual pricing and packaging reviews across the product portfolio
Manage a small analytics team for pricing and commercial analysis
Serve as an analytical resource for cross-functional business priorities
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related discipline; MBA preferred
6+ years of experience in finance, investment banking, management consulting, or similar analytical roles
Strong financial modeling and business case development skills
Mastery of Excel to synthesize complex data into clear insights
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Familiarity with pricing and packaging strategies for SaaS or subscription models
Strong project management skills to lead complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives
