Role Description The Assistant Manager Analytical role is a full-time, on-site position based in Sambhal. This role involves overseeing analytical activities related to sugar, chemicals, and associated products, ensuring accuracy and reliability of test results. The Assistant Manager Analytical will be responsible for planning and conducting laboratory analyses, validating methodologies, maintaining instruments, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. Daily tasks include reviewing data, preparing reports for internal stakeholders, coordinating with production teams to support process optimization, and assisting in the implementation of best practices in analytical procedures. The role also includes training and guiding junior team members, supporting audits and compliance requirements, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in the analytical function.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of analytical chemistry, laboratory methods, and quality control practices in industrial or manufacturing settings.
Experience with laboratory instrumentation, data analysis, and documentation, preferably in sugar, chemicals, or related process industries.
Ability to interpret analytical results, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production and process optimization.
Familiarity with safety standards, environmental regulations, and good laboratory practices (GLP).
Relevant academic background such as a degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, or a related scientific discipline.
Effective communication, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple analytical tasks and deadlines.
Prior experience in a supervisory or senior laboratory role and exposure to audit, compliance, or certification processes is an advantage.
