Software Product Manager: RLPM: Associate Director

For our client, we are seeking a Software Product Manager: RLPM: Associate Director to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space.
This role will shape product vision, strategy, and roadmap for software initiatives that support critical business objectives. You will partner closely with engineering and cross-functional teams to define requirements, prioritize development, and guide products from concept through maintenance. The position also calls for strong market awareness, competitor insight, and data-driven decision-making to improve product performance and align outcomes across the organization.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $157,200 – $298,800 annually
Responsibilities
Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap to align with business goals.
Prioritize development work and maintain clear product requirements with the engineering team.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify market needs.
Translate market requirements into detailed product specifications and prioritize features.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless product development and launch.
Manage the entire product lifecycle from conception to maintenance.
Track product performance and make data-driven optimization decisions.
Qualifications
University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
12+ years of experience in relevant roles.
10+ years of product management or software development experience.
