Position Summary
Safety Projects Pvt Ltd is looking for a skilled and innovative Technical Design Engineer responsible for design development, engineering calculations, manufacturing drawings, technical coordination, and optimization of industrial special-purpose engineering systems. The role involves close coordination with production and project execution teams to ensure efficient and manufacturable designs.
Key Responsibilities
Design Engineering
Design and develop:
○ Structural support systems
○ Special components
○ Application-based engineering systems
Prepare detailed engineering and fabrication drawings.
Develop optimized and manufacturable design solutions.
Ensure compliance with technical specifications and project requirements.
Should be capable at conducting Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
Technical Activities
Perform engineering and load calculations.
Prepare manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and fabrication details.
Develop Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical documentation.
Prepare technical specifications and design reports.
Coordinate prototype development and testing activities.
Production Coordination
Support the production team in resolving fabrication and manufacturing issues.
Modify and optimize drawings based on manufacturing feasibility and site requirements.
Coordinate with shop floor teams to ensure smooth execution of designs.
Site Coordination
Review site measurements and installation requirements.
Coordinate with project execution and installation teams.
Provide technical support during installation and commissioning activities when required.
Software Knowledge
AutoCAD
SolidWorks
Inventor
Tekla (Preferred)
Qualification
BE in Mechanical Engineering / Structural Engineering
Experience
3–5 years of relevant experience in industrial design engineering, fabrication design, or special-purpose engineering systems.
Skills Required
Structural design and analysis

Load calculations and engineering analysis
BOM preparation and technical documentation
Manufacturing drawing development
Problem-solving and analytical skills
