Staff Technical Product Manager – AI

For our client, we are seeking a Staff Technical Product Manager – AI to join the team of a leader in the Energy & Utilities space.
This role will drive AI-enabled product initiatives from discovery through continuous improvement, with a strong emphasis on translating complex business needs into clear product direction. You will partner closely with engineering and executive stakeholders to shape technical decisions, set priorities, and ensure disciplined execution across a high-visibility portfolio. The position blends strategic product leadership with hands-on technical collaboration in support of both B2B and B2C product environments. It also offers the opportunity to influence clean energy technology adoption and deliver measurable business impact.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $155,340 – $207,121 annually
Responsibilities
Guide product initiatives from discovery through continuous improvement
Translate business challenges into detailed product roadmaps and backlogs
Collaborate with engineers on system design and implementation choices
Establish KPIs and assess product impact using post-launch data
Communicate product vision and priorities to technical and executive stakeholders
Challenge misaligned requests and foster team consensus for disciplined execution
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in product management and technical roles
Deep understanding of software systems for effective engineering collaboration
Experience launching products from inception and scaling established platforms
Ability to transform ambiguous problems into actionable strategies
Proven track record of defining success metrics that drive value
Strong communication skills for aligning cross-functional teams
