Role Description The Scan to BIM Revit Modelling role is a full-time, on-site position based in Rajahmundry. The individual in this role will be responsible for converting point cloud data and laser scans into accurate Revit models, including architectural, structural, and MEP elements as required. Daily tasks include importing and managing point cloud files, creating and updating BIM models, ensuring model accuracy and consistency, and adhering to project standards and client specifications. The role involves close collaboration with project engineers, designers, and other team members to resolve design issues, coordinate model changes, and maintain clear documentation. The team member will also support quality checks, model reviews, and continuous improvement of workflows and templates.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in BIM software, including proficiency in Autodesk Revit and familiarity with point cloud processing tools.
Candidates should possess skills in interpreting point cloud data, preparing 3D models from scans, and understanding architectural and structural detailing.
Candidates should possess skills in technical drawing reading, spatial visualization, and basic knowledge of construction methods and building codes.
Candidates should possess skills in attention to detail, quality checking of models, and maintaining project documentation and standards.
Candidates should possess skills in communication, teamwork, and coordinating with engineers, designers, and project managers.
Diploma or degree in civil engineering, architecture, or a related discipline is preferred.
Prior experience in Scan to BIM projects or Revit modeling for real-world structures will be an added advantage.
Ability to work on-site in Rajahmundry, manage time effectively, and adapt to evolving project requirements is essential.
