Tortus is building the AI clinician assistant for healthcare. Our technology takes the administrative weight off clinicians so they can spend more time with patients and less on paperwork, safely and accurately. We work with the NHS and leading hospitals.
We are a small, ambitious team backed by top-tier investors. We are scaling quickly: growing revenue, entering new markets, and building the systems and people that let us do that well.
THE ROLE
You will make TORTUS AI the most credible voice on clinical AI in UK healthcare social media. LinkedIn is the priority channel , we are open to your view on whether others channels earn a place.
The job is part strategy, part hands-on delivery. Each week you will plan, write and publish content, work with our clinical and product team to turn real evidence into posts people want to read, and report on what is working. Please note this is a part time role, aprox 1 day a week.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and run a monthly content calendar across our company pages, aligned with product launches, NHS deployments, events and published evidence.
- Write and schedule a number of posts a week: case studies, clinician stories, evaluation results, event coverage and short explainers.
- Ghostwrite and advise on posts for our founder , who is central to how we build trust.
- Brief and produce simple visuals and short video within our brand guidelines, working with design where needed.
- Monitor and respond to comments and messages, flagging anything clinical, commercial or sensitive to the right person.
- Track sector conversations (NHS England, ICBs, trusts, health-tech peers) and spot timely opportunities to contribute.
- Report monthly on reach, engagement, follower growth and inbound leads, with clear recommendations for the next month.
- Keep every claim accurate and sourced, and follow our approval process for anything touching clinical safety or customer names.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Essential
- Experience managing social media for tech compannies , with a portfolio showing accounts you ran and the results they achieved.
- Excellent written English and the judgement to explain technical or clinical topics clearly without over-claiming.
- Strong LinkedIn expertise, including company pages and executive thought-leadership content.
- Comfort working independently on a part-time basis: you manage your own time and keep us informed.
- Confidence with scheduling and analytics tools and basic design tools such as Canva or Figma.
Desirable
- Experience in healthcare, health tech, life sciences or another regulated sector.
- Understanding of the NHS landscape and how clinicians and buyers use social media.
- Short-form video editing skills.
- Experience supporting founder-led brands at an early-stage or scale-up company.
