Sr. Product Manager, Messaging

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Product Manager, Messaging to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space.
This role will own the messaging experience across key consumer channels, with a focus on improving engagement, retention, and overall user outcomes. You will set the strategic direction for this product area, using data, experimentation, and customer insight to guide decisions. This position partners closely with engineering and data science to enhance quality, strengthen compliance, and ensure reliable delivery at scale.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $175,000 – $235,000 annually
Responsibilities
Own the messaging domain and establish portfolio-level KPIs
Lead optimization of messaging types and strategies across multiple channels
Monitor and analyze metrics related to applications, retention, and user complaints
Design and execute experiments to test and refine messaging strategies
Collaborate with engineering and data science teams to improve messaging quality
Focus on deliverability, compliance, and sender reputation
Serve as the voice of the user, gathering insights and feedback for continuous improvement
Qualifications
5+ years of product management experience with a track record of delivering measurable results
Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in SQL and experience with A/B testing
Experience managing email, push, or lifecycle messaging for consumers
Understanding of AI/ML principles and their application in product features
Passion for user interaction and conducting direct user research
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
Self-motivated and capable of driving significant impact with autonomy
