Head of Tax

Hiring | Head – Tax | Mumbai
SW India is hiring on behalf of a client in the logistic industry for a senior tax leadership role based in Mumbai.
We are looking for a seasoned Tax professional with 15+ years of experience to lead the organisation’s India and international tax function and advise senior leadership on tax strategy and business decisions.
Key areas of responsibility:
• India and international tax strategy and planning
• Direct and indirect tax matters
• Cross-border transactions and tax structuring
• Transfer pricing and international tax
• M&A tax due diligence and transaction support
• Tax compliance, assessments and risk management
• Working closely with Finance, Legal and Business leadership
• Leading and developing the tax team
• Driving technology, automation and process improvements in tax
Ideal profile:
15+ years of relevant tax experience
CA with strong India and international tax expertise
Strong understanding of Indian direct and indirect tax
Experience with international taxation, transfer pricing and cross-border transactions
Experience working with multinational organisations
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
Big Four / leading professional services experience would be an advantage
