About the Role
Foodstories is looking for a strategic and hands-on Chief of Human Resources to lead its Pan-India people function.
The role will partner closely with the founders and leadership team to build a scalable HR framework, strengthen talent, develop leaders and create a high-performance culture across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the Pan-India HR strategy aligned with business growth and expansion.
Drive talent acquisition across culinary, restaurant operations, corporate and leadership roles.
Build strong talent pipelines and succession plans for critical positions.
Develop and implement HR policies, processes, systems and governance across locations.
Drive employee engagement, retention, performance management and career development.
Build leadership-development programs for Restaurant Managers, GMs, Chefs and functional heads.
Establish HR dashboards and KPIs covering hiring, attrition, retention, productivity and workforce costs.
Develop competitive compensation, incentive and reward structures.
Ensure effective HR operations and statutory compliance across multiple states.
Act as a strategic HR advisor to founders and senior leadership.
Ideal Candidate
12+ years of HR experience, preferably in hospitality, restaurants, F&B, retail or another multi-location business.
Proven experience managing HR across multiple locations / Pan-India operations.
Strong understanding of frontline and hospitality workforce dynamics.
Experience scaling HR systems during rapid business growth.
Strong expertise in talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management and leadership development.
Experience working directly with founders, CXOs or senior leadership.
Commercially minded, data-driven and comfortable balancing strategy with execution.
