Principal Product Manager - Billing

For our client, we are seeking a Principal Product Manager - Billing to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space.
This role will own the strategy and roadmap for billing workflows and capabilities within a complex SaaS environment. The successful candidate will act as a general manager for the product area, balancing execution, financial outcomes, and cross-functional alignment. You will translate intricate billing practices, regulatory requirements, and transaction flows into scalable product solutions while advancing AI-enabled capabilities that improve payment optimization and anomaly detection.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $137,800 – $215,400 annually
Responsibilities
Define and manage the product strategy and roadmap for billing workflows and capabilities
Act as the general manager for product strategy, execution, and financial outcomes
Translate complex billing practices and regulations into product features
Lead structured product discovery to solve complex billing and payment challenges
Serve as the primary steward for billing and finance workflows
Drive AI-enabled capabilities for payment optimization and anomaly detection
Ensure compliance and governance in billing transactions and workflows
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
7+ years of product management experience in SaaS or enterprise software
Proven experience managing complex workflow or decision-centric product areas
Deep knowledge of P&C billing operations, including invoicing and collections
Experience with configurable, transaction-centric platforms and regulatory constraints
