Technical Product Manager - Principal 1

For our client, we are seeking a Technical Product Manager - Principal 1 to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications space.
This role will own the technical product strategy for major platform and product initiatives that support large-scale telecommunications operations. You will partner closely with executive, engineering, and architecture leaders to shape multi-year roadmaps, prioritize investments, and align execution with business objectives. The position also plays a key role in governing requirements, measuring performance, and ensuring cross-functional programs are delivered with clarity and discipline.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $111,122 – $201,653 annually
Responsibilities
Own and advance the product vision and technical strategy for major product lines or platforms.
Architect and manage large-scale initiatives, identifying dependencies and risks across teams.
Lead the planning and execution of multi-program initiatives and connect them to business strategies.
Collaborate with executives to prioritize investments and negotiate trade-offs.
Drive efforts in business process modeling to enhance future-state processes.
Set and enforce standards for documenting requirements and ensuring quality.
Define frameworks for feature prioritization linked to strategic business outcomes.
Develop success metrics and report on performance to senior leadership.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred, such as an MBA or technical master's degree.
3-5 years of experience in a strategic or enterprise-level role.
Expertise in technical product management and business process modeling.
Deep technical understanding to interact effectively with architects and engineering leaders.
Experience shaping multi-year roadmaps and influencing strategic decisions.
Exceptional stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
Expertise in requirements traceability and governance models.
