Microsoft Power BI Developer

As a Microsoft Power BI Developer, you will be part of our global, cross-functional Business Intelligence team (xBI), developing data and analytics solutions for internal customers across Bosch worldwide.
Working in an international DevOps environment, you will collaborate closely with product owners, business experts and fellow developers to transform complex business requirements into scalable and meaningful Power BI reports and Premium datasets. You will have the freedom to contribute your ideas, explore our business data platform and actively shape how data supports decision-making across Bosch.
Your tasks:
► Design, develop and continuously improve Power BI reports, dashboards and Premium datasets
► Work closely with internal customers, product owners and business experts to collect and analyze complex requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions
► Design and implement data models, analytics solutions and visualizations that turn complex data into meaningful business insights
► Develop and optimize solutions using Power BI, DAX, DAX Studio and Microsoft Fabric
► Work with data warehouse environments and concepts including dimensions, facts, aggregate facts, data marts and common schema architectures
► Take responsibility for Power BI Service backend operations, including dataflows, gateway configuration, dataset and pipeline refreshes and troubleshooting
► Manage access and security topics such as Row-Level Security (RLS), permissions and deployment/lifecycle processes
► Identify and resolve complex technical and data-related issues independently and in collaboration with the global development team
► Contribute to the continuous improvement of development standards, solution quality and BI processes within an agile DevOps environment
► Work closely with internal and external service providers as well as international stakeholders to deliver reliable and scalable data solutions
► University degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Physics, Data Science or a comparable field
► At least 3 years of professional experience as a Power BI Developer, combined with several years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics or Data Warehousing
► Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI, DAX, DAX Studio and Microsoft Fabric
► Working knowledge of the Microsoft BI and Azure technology stack
► Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, analytics and reporting
► Experience in designing data models and developing scalable reporting and analytics solutions
► Hands-on experience with Power BI Service administration and backend operations, including dataflows, gateways, refresh troubleshooting, security and deployment processes
► Ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into sustainable technical solutions
► Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a high focus on code and solution quality
► Agile, proactive and solution-oriented working style with the ability to take ownership and work independently
► Collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for working in an interdisciplinary and international environment
► Passion for data, analytics and creating solutions that make complex information easy to understand
► Fluent English, both written and spoken
