Role Description The Store Manager role at Technical Associates Transformers Ltd. is a full-time, on-site position based in Uttarakhand, India. The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing daily store operations, including inventory control, material receipt and issue, and accurate documentation of stock movements. This role involves coordinating with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and efficient warehouse organization. The Store Manager will implement and monitor store policies, maintain safety and housekeeping standards, and support loss prevention practices. The individual will also lead store staff, assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure that internal customers receive reliable, responsive service.
Qualifications
Strong store management and inventory control skills, including experience with warehouse operations and stock documentation.
Customer service and customer satisfaction skills, with a focus on providing timely, accurate support to internal stakeholders.
Effective communication skills, including the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and provide clear reporting to management.
Understanding of retail loss prevention or equivalent loss control practices in an industrial store or warehouse environment.
Relevant experience in stores, warehousing, or materials management, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering setting.
Ability to use ERP or inventory management systems and basic proficiency in MS Office applications.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site operational environment.
Diploma or degree in engineering, supply chain, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
