The institute is well-known for its two-year postgraduate diploma in rural management (PRM) that prepares skilled rural managers. Role Description
The Hostel Warden will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning, safety, and discipline of the hostel facilities at IRMA. Key responsibilities include overseeing student welfare, managing day-to-day hostel operations, ensuring compliance with hostel rules and regulations, and addressing student grievances. The warden will also coordinate maintenance activities, monitor security provisions, and facilitate student engagement activities. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Anand, Gujarat, requiring active involvement in creating a safe and supportive hostel environment.
Qualifications
Experience in hostel management, supervision, or equivalent administrative roles in residential institutions.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to handle student queries and address concerns effectively.
Proficiency in administration, conflict resolution, and implementation of discipline and safety protocols.
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and collaborate with faculty, staff, and other stakeholders.
Basic computer literacy for managing records and reports.
Experience in working in educational or rural development institutions is an added advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline is required; a Master’s in Management, Social Work, or related fields is preferred.
