Associate/Senior Associate – Admissions (Advanced Management Programmes)
Department: Admissions & Financial Aid - Advanced Management Programmes (AMPs)
Role Overview
The Senior Associate – Admissions will be responsible for managing and supporting the admissions process for ISB’s Advanced Management Programmes (AMPs). The role involves engaging with prospective candidates, particularly working professionals and senior executives, providing programme guidance, driving quality enrolments, and ensuring a seamless candidate experience from initial enquiry to admission.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Admissions & Enrolment Management
Manage the end-to-end admissions process for assigned Advanced Management Programmes.
Engage with prospective candidates through calls, emails, webinars, and other communication channels.
Understand candidate profiles, career aspirations, and programme requirements to provide relevant guidance.
Counsel prospective applicants on programme structure, eligibility, curriculum, and admission process.
Follow up with prospective candidates to support timely application submission and enrolment.
Work towards achieving programme-wise application and enrolment targets.
2. Calling & Candidate Engagement
Conduct high-quality outbound and inbound calls with working professionals, senior executives, and prospective students.
Effectively communicate the value proposition, learning outcomes, and career relevance of ISB’s programmes.
Build meaningful relationships with prospective candidates through professional and mature communication.
Handle candidate queries with confidence, empathy, and clarity.
Maintain regular follow-ups with prospective candidates and ensure timely movement through the admissions funnel.
Identify serious and high-potential prospects and nurture them towards application and enrolment.
3. Lead Management & Conversion
Manage and nurture leads received through digital marketing, webinars, referrals, events, and other sources.
Ensure timely follow-up and accurate updating of lead status in Salesforce or the designated CRM.
Track lead progression from enquiry to application, interview, offer, and enrolment.
Identify reasons for lead drop-offs and recommend improvements to enhance conversion.
Focus on generating quality applications and enrolments aligned with programme eligibility and profile requirements.
Coordinate with the Digital Marketing and Sales teams to improve lead quality and conversion outcomes.
4. Candidate Counselling & Application Support
Guide candidates through the application process, including eligibility, SOP, video essay, supporting documents, and deadlines.
Clarify programme-related queries and provide accurate information to applicants.
Support candidates in understanding the application requirements and submission timelines.
Coordinate with the relevant internal teams for application-related concerns.
Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the admissions journey.
5. Stakeholder Coordination
Coordinate with Programme Leads, Faculty, Marketing, Digital Marketing, Finance, and other internal stakeholders.
Support the execution of information sessions, webinars, application guidance workshops, and alumni engagement activities.
Assist in coordinating candidate interviews, shortlisting, and other admissions-related activities.
Maintain effective communication with applicants, alumni, corporate representatives, and other relevant stakeholders.
6. Reporting & Data Management
Maintain accurate and updated admissions records in Salesforce or the designated CRM.
Prepare regular reports on leads, applications, offers, enrolments, conversion rates, and pending follow-ups.
Analyse admissions funnel performance and identify areas for improvement.
Track programme-wise targets and provide timely updates to the reporting manager.
Ensure data accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with institutional processes.
7. Programme Promotion & Outreach
Support admissions campaigns and outreach initiatives for assigned AMPs.
Participate in webinars, candidate engagement activities, alumni interactions, and programme promotion events.
Leverage alumni referrals, professional networks, and other outreach opportunities to generate prospective leads.
Communicate programme differentiators, faculty expertise, peer learning, and institutional value effectively.
Contribute ideas to improve programme visibility, candidate engagement, and enrolment outcomes.
8. Process Improvement & Team Contribution
Identify opportunities to improve admissions processes, candidate communication, and conversion strategies.
Share insights from candidate interactions to strengthen programme positioning and marketing communication.
Support team members in resolving candidate queries and operational challenges.
Contribute to a collaborative, professional, and target-oriented team environment.
Take ownership of assigned programmes and deliver responsibilities within agreed timelines.

Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and calling skills, particularly in engaging with working professionals and senior executives. A master’s degree from a recognised institution is preferred. The candidate should demonstrate maturity, professionalism, confidence, and the ability to understand and convey programme information effectively.
Overall objective: To drive quality admissions and enrolments for ISB’s Advanced Management Programmes while delivering a professional, personalised, and high-quality experience to prospective candidates.
