Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Credit Manager role based in Hathras. The Credit Manager will oversee the end-to-end credit evaluation process, including assessment of loan proposals, financial analysis, and risk profiling of customers. Daily responsibilities include reviewing credit applications, analyzing financial statements and cash flows, verifying documentation, and ensuring adherence to the bank’s credit policies and regulatory guidelines. The role involves monitoring portfolio performance, identifying early warning signals, recommending appropriate risk mitigation measures, and supporting branch teams in structuring sound credit solutions. The Credit Manager will collaborate with relationship managers and operations teams to enable timely decisions, maintain asset quality, and support overall business growth while upholding compliance and ethical standards.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Credit Management and Credit evaluation, with experience in assessing loan proposals and structuring appropriate credit limits.
Candidates should possess Credit Risk Management capabilities, including risk analysis, portfolio monitoring, and understanding of regulatory and internal risk frameworks.
Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and Finance knowledge to interpret financial statements, cash flows, and business models for credit decisioning.
Candidates should possess a clear understanding of Credit products and policies, including retail and MSME lending, security assessment, and documentation standards.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; professional certifications in credit or risk management are an advantage.
Prior experience in banking or financial services in a credit or risk role, preferably handling retail or MSME portfolios.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with branch staff, customers, and cross-functional teams; ability to present credit recommendations clearly.
Proficiency in MS Excel and basic financial analysis tools; attention to detail, ethical conduct, and ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
