Role Description The Sales Executive role at Axis Bank is a full-time, on-site position based in Ramnagar. The Sales Executive is responsible for sourcing and onboarding new customers, promoting Axis Bank’s retail and small business banking products, and achieving assigned sales and revenue targets. Daily activities include identifying and engaging prospective customers, explaining product features and benefits, conducting needs-based selling, and supporting customers through account opening and documentation processes. The role involves regular field visits, relationship-building with existing customers to encourage cross-selling and upselling, and close coordination with branch staff and regional teams to ensure smooth service delivery. The Sales Executive also monitors market trends, maintains accurate records of sales activities, and adheres to all regulatory, compliance, and internal policy requirements.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong sales and customer relationship skills, including lead generation, consultative selling, negotiation, and post-sales follow-up.
Candidates should possess skills in communication and interpersonal effectiveness, such as clear verbal and written communication, active listening, and the ability to build trust with diverse customer groups.
Candidates should possess basic financial and banking knowledge, including understanding of retail banking products (accounts, loans, cards, deposits) and comfort with explaining terms, charges, and benefits.
Candidates should possess organizational and operational skills, including accurate documentation, time management, pipeline tracking, and familiarity with CRM or sales tracking tools.
Candidates should possess digital and technical proficiency, including the ability to work with banking systems, mobile and internet banking platforms, and standard office applications.
Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, finance, or a related field are preferred; prior experience in field sales or financial services is an advantage.
