Senior Python Developer

Company Description One Health Assist is a preventive health solutions ecosystem that offers holistic care through access to verified doctors and wellness experts for consultations and personalized plans. The platform enables users to upload EMR records for free, simplifying family health management and generating a OneHealth Score that helps individuals understand their health needs. A dedicated Health Shop connects users with high-quality products from trusted brands, supported by attractive offers. Lab tests and medicine subscription plans are designed to be convenient and cost-effective, often including free wellness sessions. Each family member, including pets, receives a unique One Health ID (OHID), enabling tailored wellness experiences and contributing to a more connected, digital-first healthcare journey.
Role Description The Python Developer will work on-site in Mumbai in a full-time capacity, collaborating closely with product, design, and healthcare domain teams to build and enhance backend services powering the One Health Assist platform. Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining Python-based applications and APIs that support EMR management, user profiles, OHID services, health scoring, and e-commerce features. The role involves integrating databases, ensuring secure and efficient data handling, optimizing performance, and troubleshooting production issues. The Python Developer will participate in code reviews, write unit and integration tests, and contribute to architectural decisions and documentation. This position also includes working with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions that improve user experience and support future platform growth.
Qualifications
Strong programming foundation with Python, including experience in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and general Software Development best practices.
Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development using Python frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI) to build RESTful APIs and microservices.
Proficiency working with Databases (SQL and/or NoSQL), including schema design, query optimization, and data integrity.
Experience integrating backend services with third-party APIs and internal systems in a production environment.
Familiarity with version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows (code reviews, branching strategies).
Understanding of security, performance, and scalability considerations in web applications.
Ability to analyze requirements, write clean and maintainable code, and document technical decisions clearly.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Exposure to healthcare, wellness, or e-commerce platforms is an advantage.
Comfort working on-site in Mumbai in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
