Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Motion Designer role based in Gurugram. The Motion Designer will create engaging motion graphics and animations for digital products, marketing assets, and communication materials. Day-to-day responsibilities include conceptualizing visual narratives, developing storyboards, designing motion elements, and collaborating with designers, product teams, and stakeholders to bring complex ideas to life. The role involves working closely with UX and UI teams to enhance product experiences through motion, as well as contributing to video production tasks such as editing and asset preparation. The Motion Designer is expected to manage timelines, maintain brand consistency, and deliver high-quality work that supports Yellow Slice’s mission of making essential services easier to use.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Motion Design and Motion Graphics for digital products and visual communication.
Candidates should possess skills in Animation and Storyboarding to develop clear visual narratives and interaction flows.
Candidates should possess skills in Video Production, including basic editing, asset preparation, and exporting for multiple platforms.
Proficiency with industry-standard tools (e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, or equivalent motion and design software).
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, interpret briefs, and translate complex ideas into simple visual stories.
Strong visual design sense, attention to detail, and understanding of timing, transitions, and micro-interactions for digital interfaces.
Relevant experience in motion design for product design, UI/UX, or digital services; a portfolio showcasing motion work is required.
Degree or formal training in Design, Animation, Media Arts, or a related field is beneficial, though equivalent practical experience is also valued.
