Role Description This is a full-time, on-site English Teacher role based in Kathua. The English Teacher will design and deliver engaging lessons that build students’ reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills across grade levels. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching classes, assigning and assessing homework and projects, and providing constructive feedback to support student progress. The teacher will maintain classroom discipline, track academic performance, and communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student development. The role also involves participating in staff meetings, school events, and professional development activities to continuously improve teaching practices and contribute to the broader school community.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong English Teaching and Teaching skills, with a proven ability to manage classrooms and facilitate effective learning.
Candidates should possess Lesson Planning skills to design structured, age-appropriate, and engaging instructional materials.
Candidates should possess solid Education-related knowledge, including child development and pedagogical best practices.
Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for clear instruction, student guidance, and collaboration with colleagues and families.
Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field; a teaching certification or license is preferred.
Experience teaching English at school level, ideally in a CBSE or similar curriculum environment.
Ability to integrate technology into classroom instruction and assessment.
Strong classroom management, organizational skills, and a student-centered approach to teaching.
