The Role
We are looking for a Relationship Manager to be the primary point of contact for clients, with strong knowledge of Mutual Funds, PMS and Listed Equity. The role covers client relationship management, portfolio reviews, rebalancing, referrals, distribution/franchise development and investor-education initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Build and manage relationships across HNI, affluent, professional, business-owner and NRI segments, including referrals from existing clients.
• Manage an assigned client book through regular reviews, prompt service and proactive communication.
• Conduct risk profiling and suitability documentation, clearly explaining risks, costs, lock-ins, taxation and exit terms.
• Conduct portfolio reviews and support appropriate rebalancing of Mutual Funds and Stocks based on client objectives, risk profile and approved recommendations.
• Explain Mutual Funds, PMS and Equity Investments, including structure, the ₹50 lakh PMS minimum, fees, taxation, risks and transparency.
• Acquire and develop referral relationships and support franchise/distribution opportunities in line with company policies and approved processes.
• Plan and conduct investor-education webinars and seminars, coordinating with AMCs and using approved firm/AMC material.
• Coordinate with Operations for KYC, FATCA/CRS, nominations, demat and transactions while keeping CRM records updated.
• Follow AMFI, SEBI and APMI conduct requirements, including correct EUIN usage and avoiding assured-return claims or misselling.
What You Must Bring
• NISM Series V-A — Mandatory and valid for EUIN; NISM Series VIII — required for equity-related responsibilities.
• 2–4 years in a client-facing investment role across MF, PMS, AIF, private/priority banking or broking.
• Working knowledge of Mutual Funds, PMS and Listed Equity, including structure, costs, taxation and risk.
• Experience in client acquisition, referrals, distribution handling and portfolio reviews/rebalancing.
• Experience conducting or coordinating webinars/seminars, preferably with AMCs.
• Excellent spoken/written English and strong presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Claude AI and other AI productivity tools for client communication, research support, presentations, documentation and workflow improvement.
• Graduate; Commerce/Finance/Economics preferred. Hyderabad-based; on-site at Ameerpet with local travel.
