Role Description The Faculty Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Tumakuru, responsible for overseeing faculty operations across designated institutions within the Shridevi Group. This role includes coordinating faculty recruitment and onboarding, managing workloads and schedules, and supporting performance reviews and professional development initiatives. The Faculty Manager collaborates with academic leadership to align teaching resources with program needs, ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance, and promote consistent academic quality. Daily responsibilities include facilitating effective communication between faculty and administration, addressing faculty-related concerns, supporting student experience through well-managed teaching teams, and contributing to strategic planning for academic growth. The role also involves maintaining documentation, preparing reports, and participating in meetings and committees as required.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Personnel Leadership and People Management skills to guide, mentor, and support diverse faculty teams.
Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with faculty, students, parents, and administrative stakeholders.
Candidates should possess solid Project Management skills to plan, coordinate, and monitor academic and administrative initiatives across multiple departments.
Relevant experience in academic administration or education management, preferably within higher education institutions.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and handle sensitive issues with discretion and fairness.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with standard office and educational management software.
Master’s degree in Education, Management, or a related field; equivalent experience in institutional administration may also be considered.
Knowledge of Indian higher education regulations and accreditation processes is an added advantage.
