Sales Engineer, TECHLINE, Midwest Region

At LINAK, we develop innovative electric actuator solutions that create movement in applications across the world. Our TECHLINE business unit delivers actuator and control solutions for a wide range of industries, helping manufacturers improve productivity, ergonomics, automation, and equipment performance.
We're seeking a technically minded, customer-focused Sales Engineer to support our growing TECHLINE business. This role will work closely with customers and the sales team to develop electromechanical solutions for a diverse range of applications, including:
Agricultural equipment
Lawn and turf equipment
Outdoor power equipment
Mobile machinery
Industrial automation systems
Material handling equipment
Specialty industrial equipment
Other indoor and outdoor automation applications
This position is ideal for someone with a strong electromechanical aptitude who enjoys solving customer challenges, working directly with engineers and product designers, and helping bring innovative solutions to market.
What You'll Do
Serve as a technical resource for customers and the LINAK sales team.
Understand customer requirements and specify complete actuator, control, and software solutions.
Provide technical support involving mechanical, electrical, electronic, and software-related systems.
Develop quotations and manage pricing activities.
Collaborate with Application Engineering to address customer concerns, application requirements, and product specifications.
Support business development efforts through lead qualification, market research, customer outreach, and trade show participation.
Manage projects from concept through implementation.
Identify and develop new opportunities within agricultural, lawn & turf, industrial automation, and mobile equipment markets.
Support sales and marketing initiatives to drive growth within the TECHLINE business unit.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Business, or a related field preferred.
0-3 years of experience in engineering, technical sales, applications engineering, automation, or related industries.
Strong electromechanical aptitude with the ability to understand mechanical systems, electrical controls, and automation technologies.
Experience or interest in agricultural equipment, lawn and turf machinery, mobile equipment, industrial automation, or related applications is highly desirable.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong organizational and project management abilities.
Comfortable interacting with customers in both technical and commercial discussions.
Willingness to travel up to 14 weeks annually, including domestic and international travel.
